Cultivating Flourishing Congregations

Cultivating Flourishing Congregations is a 12 month process that helps leadership teams develop a spiritual and strategic roadmap that can lead your congregation into a season of flourishing marked by transformation and a renewed vision. This map, along with the tools you will learn, can energize leadership and help clarify decision making and next steps for years to come.

Rather than trying to create “one size fits all” solution, Cultivating Flourishing Congregations aims to help churches of all sizes and stages:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the health of their entire church system.
• Engage the entire congregation, including staff and lay leaders, while building a core guiding coalition to foster increased health and vitality.
• Creating an individualized roadmap for flourishing with guidance from ECO navigators
• Benefit from community and connection with other churches for mutual learning and support

Cultivating Flourishing Congregations walks with churches through a season of discovery, brings their leadership together to discern in community, and sends them out with direction with personalized roadmaps for their congregations.

The Process

Once committed, churches are asked to form a “Flourishing Team” of 3-6 leaders who will work with the pastor to engage in this process. The Flourishing Team will be responsible for the completion of the pre-work and travel with the pastor to attend the 3-day team intensive. They will also work with the pastor and other leadership to implement the work of the map.
