About Our Guest

Kaitlyn Wood graduated from Northeastern Seminary in May 2018 and was ordained and installed as the lead pastor at United Church that fall. A native of the area, Kaitlyn lives in Cohoes with her husband Matthew and their 3 boys (Levi, Jonah, and Aaron).

In the fall of 2018, United Church joined a Church Transformation Cohort with 8 other churches in their denomination. The goal of the cohort was to evaluate the church’s health, create “prescriptions” that would help the church flourish, and equip their leadership to accomplish the vision that God has given them.

Since then, they have undergone a major “facelift”, completely changed their organizational structure, and realigned their mission. They are excited to see what God has in store at United Church.
