Certified Transitional Pastor Training

Churches in transition need more than someone to fill the pulpit until the next pastor arrives. They need leaders who can help congregations navigate change with wisdom, stability, and hope. The Certified Transitional Pastor (CTP) Training equips pastors and ministry leaders to guide churches through seasons of uncertainty while preparing them for a healthy future.

Why CTP Training?

Transition is one of the most pivotal seasons in a church’s life. When led well, it can create opportunities for healing, discernment, and renewal.

Transitions are among the most significant seasons in the life of a church. Whether prompted by a pastoral departure, organizational challenges, congregational conflict, or a desire for renewed clarity and direction, these moments often reveal both the strengths and vulnerabilities within a congregation. While periods of change can create uncertainty, they also present unique opportunities for reflection, healing, and renewed mission. Effective transitional leadership requires more than simply maintaining stability until the next pastor arrives—it requires leaders who can navigate complex systems, foster healthy communication, guide congregations through change, and help churches discern a faithful path forward. The Certified Transitional Pastor Training equips pastors and ministry leaders with the skills, tools, and practical experience needed to lead through these pivotal moments with wisdom, confidence, and hope, helping congregations move beyond merely surviving transition to becoming healthier, more aligned, and better prepared for their next season of flourishing.
